Global Rewards Lead - ECCO HQ, Bredebro
Do you want to shape the future of Rewards for 21,000 colleagues across the world and take the professional lead on a global Rewards agenda?
At ECCO, we are continuing to strengthen our global approach to Rewards. We have built important foundations, and now we are looking for an experienced Rewards professional to help drive and further strengthen our global Rewards journey.
As our Global Rewards Lead, you will play a key role in setting the direction for our future Rewards strategy and developing the principles, frameworks and programmes that support our business and colleagues across the world. Working closely with senior leaders, P&C leadership and colleagues across our markets, you will translate business priorities into a coherent global Rewards approach while driving key initiatives from concept to execution.
Shape our global Rewards agenda
Based at our headquarters in Bredebro, Denmark, you will join our Global People & Operations function and become part of our Global Rewards team together with an experienced Senior Rewards Partner.
Together, you will drive and further develop our global Rewards agenda. As Global Rewards Lead, you will set the overall professional direction and shape our global Rewards strategy, while both of you take ownership of key Rewards areas and initiatives. You will work as close sparring partners, combining your expertise to develop and deliver solutions that work across ECCO globally.
A key priority will be to create the right balance between global principles, business needs and local market realities. More specifically, you will:
- Set the direction for and continuously develop ECCO’s global Rewards strategy, principles and frameworks.
- Act as a trusted Rewards advisor to senior leaders and P&C leadership, providing insights, recommendations and constructive challenge while translating global principles into practical solutions across markets.
- Drive the development of global compensation structures and approaches, including salary structures, benchmarking, market positioning and incentive programmes.
- Lead key global compensation processes, ensuring strong governance, consistency and quality while using data, analytics and market insights to support decision-making.
- Partner with P&C colleagues globally and work closely with our Senior Rewards Partner to deliver impactful Rewards initiatives that support both business priorities and our People agenda.'
Bring strategic insight and hands-on Rewards expertise
You are an experienced Rewards professional who is motivated by the opportunity to shape an agenda rather than simply maintain existing processes. While this is a strategically important role, it is also a hands-on position where you will actively drive and deliver key Rewards initiatives yourself.
Therefore, you combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and a willingness to get involved in the details. You are comfortable navigating complex topics, turning data and market insights into clear recommendations and engaging senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility. You will thrive in this role if you enjoy working in a dynamic environment where priorities can evolve, new challenges emerge and collaboration across functions, culture and geographies is key to success.
To succeed in the role, you bring:
- Significant experience within Rewards, Compensation & Benefits or a comparable field, preferably from an international organisation.
- Experience developing Rewards strategies, frameworks and programmes across multiple markets, including compensation structures, salary review processes and incentive programmes.
- Strong analytical capabilities and confidence working with complex compensation data and market benchmarking.
- Experience advising, influencing and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in a global environment.
- Fluency in English and the ability to move comfortably between strategic development and hands-on execution.
Join a small team with global impact
This is not a people management role. Instead, it is an opportunity to take significant global responsibility and become a trusted advisor on one of ECCO’s key people agendas.
You will join a small, experienced Rewards team where collaboration, professional partnership and knowledge sharing are central to the way we work. Being present in Bredebro and working closely with colleagues across our headquarters organisation is an important part of the role, while the global nature of the position will give you a broad international network and exposure to stakeholders across the business.
Ready to help define the future of Rewards at ECCO?
If you are excited by the opportunity to shape the future of Rewards in a truly global organisation, we would love to hear from you. Even if your experience does not match every requirement, we encourage you to apply.
