Student Worker, Group Legal & Compliance - ECCO HQ, Bredebro
Would you like to apply your legal knowledge in practice and help shape decision-making across a global company while building valuable experience for your future career?
Support legal work that makes a difference across ECCO
As our new Student Worker, you will become part of Group Legal & Compliance at our HQ in Bredebro. Working closely with experienced legal colleagues, you will gain hands-on exposure to a broad range of legal matters across an international business.
In this role, you will help the team provide legal support across areas such as procurement, IT, real estate, sales, supply chain and intellectual property. You will contribute through legal research, contract reviews, documentation management and support for legal projects. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to develop your understanding of how legal advice creates value in a global organisation.
To support your development, you will also gain hands-on experience with Harvey, our AI-powered legal platform, which is used to assist with legal research, document analysis and other legal workflows.
Specifically, you will:
- Assist with reviewing contracts and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research and prepare summaries for the team.
- Support the maintenance of legal templates, records and documentation.
- Contribute to corporate governance administration and related processes.
- Participate in legal projects, process improvements and ad hoc assignments.
Build your legal foundation in an international environment
You are currently studying Law or Business Law and are eager to supplement your studies with practical experience. You enjoy analysing information, working with details and taking responsibility for your tasks. Most importantly, you are curious, motivated to learn and comfortable collaborating with different stakeholders.
We imagine that you:
- Are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree within Law or Business Law and have completed at least one year of studies.
- Have strong analytical skills and a structured approach to your work.
- Communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Are comfortable working independently while also being a collaborative team member.
- Have experience with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of company law, commercial law, contract law or intellectual property law is an advantage.
Join a collaborative legal team where learning comes first
You will join Group Legal & Compliance, a close-knit team that supports stakeholders across ECCO's global organisation. We combine professional expertise with a supportive and informal atmosphere where questions are welcomed, knowledge is shared and development is encouraged.
You will also have another Student Worker in the team, providing a natural opportunity for knowledge sharing, support, and day-to-day sparring, as you grow into the role.
As a Student Worker, you will gain insight into a wide variety of legal disciplines while building relationships across functions and cultures. It is a unique opportunity to learn from experienced legal professionals and develop practical skills that will support your future career.
Ready to take the next step in your legal career?
If this sounds like an opportunity for you, we would love to hear from you. Even if you do not meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply if you believe you can contribute to the role and the team.
We will review applications on an ongoing basis until the position have been filled.
