Communications, Partnerships & Brand Activations Lead - Copenhagen

Drive global communications and brand activations with impact
In this role, you will lead ECCO’s global communications, partnerships and brand activations agenda, setting a clear direction for how we build reputation, relevance and visibility worldwide. 

You will work closely with internal teams across Global Marketing and collaborate with external partners to turn strategy into compelling stories, events and earned moments that connect brand, product and culture.

You will be part of Global Marketing Communication based in Carlsberg Byen, Copenhagen, a close knit and collaborative team where curiosity, craftsmanship and high standards go hand in hand. The atmosphere is ambitious without being rigid, with space to challenge ideas, learn from each other and create work we are proud of.

Specifically, you will:

  • Develop and own ECCO’s global communications and brand activations strategy aligned to brand, product and commercial priorities.
  • Lead global PR and earned media efforts, including agency management and performance follow up.
  • Shape executive and leadership storytelling in close partnership with senior stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver global brand activations and events together with PR, event and production partners.
  • Manage budgets and track performance through clear KPIs and insights.

Bring your experience in communications, PR and brand storytelling
To thrive in this role, you bring solid experience from similar positions and enjoy navigating complexity across markets, cultures and disciplines. You combine strategic thinking with hands on execution and are comfortable working through others to create results.

We imagine you bring:

  • Experience from communications, PR or brand activation roles in a global or international setup.
  • Proven ability to manage agencies and external partners effectively.
  • Strong understanding of earned media, media relations and the global media landscape.
  • Experience delivering brand events, launches or cultural activations.
  • A collaborative mindset and clear, confident communication style.

You will report to the Group Director, Marketing Communications, and work closely with colleagues across Social, Influence & Talent, Go-To-Market, Creative and regional marketing teams. While the role has no direct reports initially, it offers strong senior influence and the opportunity to shape how ECCO is reflected globally, both today and in the years ahead.
