Senior Project Manager
Ready to play a key role in a global SAP rollout as part of a new team? And do you want to help teams across the globe embrace change and succeed in a new global way of working?
Join a small team that you will help establish – this role offers a unique opportunity to lead with purpose, tackle complexity, and deliver measurable results.
“Why is this a great opportunity? Because you’ll be part of a greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation, where you’ll build everything from scratch – and influence our future” says Gerald Dehn-Jensen, Senior Program Director.
Not just project management – but transformation with a purpose
With SAP phasing out its legacy ECC system, we must be ready to transition to SAP S/4HANA – an upgrade that will streamline processes, provide real-time insights, and prepare us for future growth.
As Senior SAP Project Manager, you will be at the heart of our new Program Office, which will be tasked with deploying SAP S/4HANA globally – a program that will currently run until at least 2029. The team within the Program Office is still being shaped, and we expect it to consist up of 15 dedicated colleagues within next 12 months, giving you a great opportunity to join at the very start and help form it.
Reporting to the PMO Lead, you will be aligning teams, overcoming challenges, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
You will gain a wide internal network, when you collaborate across business units – from production, logistics and finance to customer service and other project managers within your team – to ensure employees at all levels are supported through the change. More specifically, you will:
- Build and manage project scope, timelines, budget, and resources while mitigating risks and resolving challenges proactively
- Act as a central point of coordination, keeping stakeholders engaged and informed throughout the program lifecycle
- Drive best practices in project governance, issue resolution, and change management to ensure smooth program delivery
- Maintain and contribute to high-level program roadmaps to ensure visibility and transparency
- Work closely with system integrators and key vendors to optimise performance and ensure seamless collaboration
This role can be based either in Bredebro or Copenhagen – though we expect you to be able to be in Bredebro regularly, approximately 40% at the time. Further, you will have some international travel, approximately 1 week every 2 months.
Solid SAP experience and great stakeholder management skills
With your outgoing nature, great communication skills, and comfort being in the spotlight, you have the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. And having a structured mindset and the ability to take initiative, you know how to combine strategy with practical execution.
You might come from the industry or from a supplier of consultancy services – and you might bring expertise within either the technical, financial, or the supplier side. We are very open to each scenario and imagine that you furthermore bring:
- Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager involved in large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementations
- A deep understanding of SAP Activate and other SAP elements (Cloud ALM, etc.)
- Proven ability to manage complex SAP projects with a proactive and results-driven approach
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- English proficiency – and you are at ease with working in a global, multicultural environment
Are you ready for your next challenge?
We will invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to apply.
